Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “The real deal 1947 Willys CJ2A. The jeeps in really good shape given it’s age. For the most part it is stock. It was converted to 12 volt, but I have the 6 volt generator. It starts right up and runs great. Bestop top for it, isn’t in the pictures. Clean title. Collector plates. Tow bar. New shocks and brakes. Tires in great shape. Re-cored the radiator recently. It’s a fun ride. I always wanted one of these since I was a teenager. After playing with it for 10+ years, it’s time to pass it on to the next dreamer.”

(06/30/2019) Tom shared this oddity. This seems to be a late model DJ-3A body and windshield (design for a Koenig top) mounted on a (probably) CJ-2A chassis with a Meyer Half-top. That’s a combo I don’t think I’ve seen before.
