These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1947 Willeys JEEP. Amazing original in every aspect. Collector car!!! This is an original paint from 47 Jeep with every option from factory. It is in perfect running order and does not drip a drop of oil. It has California (gold) vintage plates. Everything included including books, spare tire, bed extender (worth $1000 alone) perfect canvas with clear clear plastic panels. Interior is perfect. All running gear like overdrive, 4 drive, high/low work as though new. THIS IS NOT AN OLD ARMY JEEP. This is a CJ or sold to the public jeep from 1947. All works, 6V, battery charger included but it start up first try. It want to be driven more than I get around to. Original pinstripe lettering (hand.) It has great tires, seats, floors. and addition accessories from factor live icebox and other details. This will not last.”

The frame rails don’t have any gussets. In my mind, as a former Badger State resident myself, the bigger question is …. there’s a Waldo, Wisconsin?

“Mostly original minus paint and wiring. Converted to 12 volt with fuse block installed. Flat head engine runs like a top recent tune up. Brakes have been replaced from top to bottom, lines, shoes, master cylinder with remote reservoir, pressure switch. Three speed shifts out out good and doesn’t pop out of gear. Twin stick transfercase. Everything works great even have original hand crank windshield wiper just not installed. Clean title and tag up to date.”
