About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1948 Willy’s Jeep on arps half tracks, on of a kind conversion, steers by two brake levers locking out either side, can spin circles on itself, 3 speed, newer idler tires, will go through 2 ft of water. Flat head four cylinder, spun a main bearing, pulled motor, had everything repaired, crank turned, new bearings, just needs to be reassembled.”
“1945 Willy’s jeep.
Project Jeep with lots of good parts.
Jeep has primer and ready to be painted. Bodywork has been redone and in great condition. No motors or transmission in Jeep right now. Price for Jeep alone is $3000.
Have four motors for it.
1. is a F head motor for a 1949 Jeep that is in original condition. It is in complete condition with generators and everything. Has a cracked carburetor. That engine was running when taken out. This engine is going for $250.
2. Second motor is an L134. It is an original 1942 motor. This one has been completely rebuilt professionally by a professional motor company. Price for this motor is $1,000.
3. Third motor is L134 flathead engine. Don’t know much about this one. Price for this motor is $100
4. Late 1990s 350 Chevy vortex has 11,000 original miles. Set up for a carburetor.
Have several transmissions and transfer cases as well. Original radiators and windshields. Head light buckets and other items for Jeep.”
“Includes everything to put it up on rolling chassis. All body parts included.

“Up for sale I have a Willys CJ2A Jeep made in 1946.
It starts, runs, and drives.
New battery and spark plugs.
Has a clean, green title in my name.
Tires hold air.
The Jeep is definately a 1946, according to VIN number, the column shifter on the steering wheel, and having 3 of the agricultural rims.
Frame could use repair at rear left corner and body has rust, could use repair.”
“Great running Willy’s! Would keep it but don’t have the room and have a cj7 project to do. I drained and replaced the transmission, and axles last winter. Did a full around tune up. Put in new alternator, some gauges and new oil filter. This Jeep has been babied and just drove down the road and back. 5000 or best offer”
“1946 Willy’s CJ2A. Needs full restoration. Does not run–Engine has no compression. Body needs repaired in a handful of places.
Entire second drivetrain to go with (engine, transmission, transfer case, axles).
Many new parts to go with. Carb not pictured but goes with–believe there to be a second carb also. Generators & starters rebuilt by Johnny’s Auto Electric (two sets, one from donor, one from cj2a w/title).”

“This Willy’s has only surface rust. I’ve been collecting these things for over 20 years and I’ve never seen one in this good shape. Im only selling because just I bought a MUTT…
$5k is a bargain.”
“Got the Jeep as a project but have a new baby and have to get rid of some stuff. Everything’s there disassembled and organized. Transmission needs a rebuild kit and engine needs to be rebuilt. Tub is bent from being rolled but can bent out. Would be a great project. Just don’t have the time. Anymore.”
