About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“You are looking at a Custom Jeep Willys. This Jeep has been built from the Ground up. Frame is a 1950’s cj5 willys that was stripped down and painted with all new springs, and hardware. Only thing that’s original Willys is the Frame, Hood, Fenders, and Grill. It Has a fiberglass body which has been bed lined inside and out and reinforced. This is a show stopper that gets a lot of attention! The drivetrain is a 1990 302 Mustang motor that had 90k on it before being installed. The following is all brand new when its was built: alternator, water pump, edelbrock intake, timing chain, edelbrock 650 carb, new ignition, headers, x pipe, magnaflow exhaust, radiator, starter, and much more.
Transmission is a rebuilt Ford C4 3spd with a 4500 stall converter, shift kit, and B&M hammer shifter. Jeep has manual brakes with disc in the front and drum on the rear. Steering is also manual but has brand new steering box (very easy to steer). Rear end is a Chevy 10 bolt. Jeep is Rear wheel drive only, no room for the 4wd. Fun to drive to shows and parades. Has a hidden stereo with kicker speakers front and back. Runs and drives great but could use just some tuning to make it perfect and little odds and ends. I have been driving it to shows and parades and it has been running perfect. Jeep is registered as a 1981 CJ7”

Dana 44 front, lock right, Dutchman, land cruiser leafs. Warn 8274-50. SS 38’s on beadlocks. Custom paint, airbrush flames. Best top and windshield, KC lights, Optima, heater, RCI belts, lots of parts. All excellent, like new. Stored in climate controlled shop”
“1947 Willys jeep.
1500$ OBO
No battery, engine starts.
Needs carborator and break system.
Needs some TLC. Simple mechanical systems, good for a garage project.
This early CJ-2A has been refurbed. Has had some body work done, as the drain holes are missing. The windshield is an M-38 or replacement windshield, not a CJ-3A.
Nice restored 2A, serial number 18567 which means it was manufactured in Feb, 1946 making it a VEC or Very Early Civilian jeep made up of mostly left over parts from the MB. Has side indents on drivers side for shovel and ax. Go Devil engine runs well, transmission shifts nicely, all new brake lines, brake cylinders, shoes and master cylinder. New oil pan gasket. Oil changed and new filter. New hoses. All new gauges with exception of speedo which is original (as far as i can tell). New battery. Converted over to 12 volt. New fuel sender and fuel gauge. Lights work, including brake lights. Windshield is not correct as it is off of 1951 CJ3A. You can buy correct windshield frame for $500 and glass is another $100 to be period correct. Four wheel drive works. Exhaust is good. Tires are old but for a vehicle that tops out at 40 mph, they are fine. It is registered and drives nicely down the road. No title as is the case with most of these old WW2 era vehicles. Call 207 three 5 one, 32 hundred. No trades, agents and only cash please.”
“It is all stock besides a gas tank relocation and SOA conversion. I bought some parts to do a disc brake conversion since the slave cylinders leak. There is rust but the frame and parts are all good for a restoration.”
