This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (05/04/2019) This has some tool indents, but the gas inlet is missing (probably removed, as the gas tank sits in the cargo area now). Strangely, there appears to be also a custom tank underneath the cargo area.

It’s a project
“Hello! For sale is my 1947 Willy’s Jeep Project. Currently rolling, but not running, it was summer project but I no longer have the tools to finish it. The tub is from a 1947 Willy’s CJ2A, and it has the original seats, steering, gauges, and front axle. It has a larger Ford 8.8 Rear End to accompany the 5.3L LS Engine in the front and the 4-speed 4L60E auto transmission in the middle. Will be a great project for someone to finish!
