This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1946 Willys CJ2A Jeep
Body is beat up, needs a lot repair or replacement. Frame has a crack in the passenger side front but besides that good shape. I have the hood and two windshield frames for it, all could use a little help.
The jeep currently doesnt run but I’ve had it running/driving a couple years ago. Has new brakes, 12v conversion, hoses, switches, carburetor, ignition, fuel lines, gas tank. It’s all there just needs some love. Sold with bill of sale only no title.”

1947 Willy’s Jeep CJ-2A chassis. It runs and drives. New wheel cylinders and brake shoes. Includes original 16″ wheels, oil bath air cleaner, dash/cowl, hood and other misc parts. Have the original VIN tags and a NY registration.”

“For sale is a 1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep. This was a “barn find,” which I do not have the time to restore. I have two new tires already installed on the rims. It has the original “Go-Devil” engine. The engine does not run, but the transmission will shift to each gear. I’m asking $1,000 OBO. Please call or text for further information.”

“1940s model Willys Jeep
Starts & runs good. The brakes need some minor work, and the front left tire has a slow leak. Aside from that, it is ready to go. There is no VIN number or title. We have owned the jeep for over 20 years. Our kids learned to drive in this jeep. It’s hard to let it go, but it has been parked for several years. Time for us to pass it on.”

(12/21/2018) This hunting jeep includes a feeder on the back.
“This 1946 Willys Jeep has a new engine that runs great – it was rebuilt a few years ago and has less than 1,000 miles on it. The Jeep also has a Warn winch, brush guard, feeder, solid tires, and a hunting high-seat for 2 persons.”
This may be a CJ-3A with a CJ-2A body.
