These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Jeep Willys in need of restoration. She’s all there and complete motor turns over freely but trans is stuck in gear. Have a extra 6 cylinder motor with a good transmission. Brand new tires. Body has rust spots and has been repainted several times over the years. Now sitting in a covered barn I just don’t have the time for it. I am firm on the price that’s what I have in it and it’s not in my way and I don’t have to sell but I thought someone would like to have it.”
“ENGINE RUNS BUT FUEL PUMP JUST WENT OUT, STILL STARTS WITH FUEL IN CARBURATOR. 2 TRANSMISSIONS ONE IN THE JEEP, ONE EXTRA, BOTH STUCK OUT OF GEAR TOLD THEY NEED POPIT BALLS AND SPRINGS ( HAVE THEM ) BODY AND FRAME APPEAR SOLID , VERY LITTLE ACTIVE RUST, THIS OLD SURVIVOR IS READY TO GO INTO THE BUSH WITH TRANNY FIX AND MINOR ELECTRICAL. (09/29/2017) Listed as a 2A, this has an MB Slat Grille for the grille.
“Complete body off resto. Frame is awesome, boxed, crossbraced, cable clutch super easy. Manual super easy steering, chevy box. New brake master etc. custom windsheild frame, new glass, rubber. Pass seat lifts forward,underbox all new, with a layer of fiberglass coating on inside to prevent future problems. Line x tub. Body restored better than new, sealed everywhere. New paint. Did not paint hood, was going to get new one. All gauges replaced, new wiring harness. Tranny/tcase rebuilt, not sure of motor, but runs beautiful and does not smoke, purs. New frt. bumper 1/4 thick. New rear frame member. Custom built front grill. New 12v alt. All stock running gear. New gas tank, large cap. Inset taillights. This jeep is so clean and well built that its hard to let it go. I am selling to buy a 4runner, something more practical. I built this, and has been driven probably 8 times down my road in the last year. Anyway, if you buy a hood, i have the can of matching paint. I would buy a tailgate too, looks more orig. thank you. Price is firm”
(11/15/2017) Jeep’s been rebuilt, but seller thinks the engine would benefit from a rebuild, too.
“Selling the Jeep that I don’t use any more. I bought it as a project, rebuilt it, and now with the lack of time I have decided to sell it. Many new parts which include brakes from master cylinder all the way to the calipers, body panels, multiple drive train parts. It runs well, the oil pressure is low but still within the standards set in the Jeep manual. If I was to keep it, I would pull the original 4 cylinder and have it rebuilt. All new wiring, lights, reupholstered seats, bed liner sprayed in, sandblasted rolling chassis and professionally painted body.”
“1946 Willys CJ2A, excellent mechanical condition, lots of work done over the years. Great fun driving and hunting over the years, hate to part with it but just don’t use it anymore. Must see and drive to appreciate.”

UPDATE: Price dropped to $3500. Seller has identified this as both a ’51 and a ’52 in various ads. Seller also has a 70s/80s CJ-5 for sale.
(09/26/2017) “Good 51 cj2a willys jeep, disc brakes on front ,almost no rust on body ( very rare) , engine runs , only rear floor area has rust , converted to 12 volt, has heater, has short hard top and doors ,Has clear title ,great project easy to do or use as is ,has new poly gas tank, runs drives stops, lights work amazing, $3500 or maybe trade, harley or project , Indian or? Engine: 4.3 L Chevy V6 Throttle Body Injection
Transmission: SM 465 rebuilt
Overdrive Saturn (inline).
Front Differential: Dana 30 with open Knuckles, disc brakes.
Rear Differential: Dana 44 with steel Axels.
Both F and R diffs have new 5.38 gears and bearings.
Body is finished with spray on bed liner, inside and out.
Frame has been boxed and powder coated.
Custom built roll cage is mounted to the frame in 6 places and powder coated.
Radiator is custom built-all brass.
Luggage rack has been shortened to lower the center of gravity.
Top is “BesTop” and custom fitted to the roll cage.
