Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Ford 302 V8. Warn winch- worked last time used. T18/T90 Warn overdrive. 5.38 Gears. Stock axles. 33 12.50 Super Swampers. Lift springs/shackles. Best top. Power brakes. Power steering. Tilt wheel. New battery. New k&n air filter element. New clutch. Roll cage, front floors and body mounts need work. Fuel tank has pinholes bit should be repairable (running on a gas can). Frame needs some welding. Running, driving, stopping, steering, project.”

“1947 jeep willys for sale /trade …has the 225 oddfire dauntless Buick motor and steering column …warn overdrive unit …new seats /tires/battery ..pretty clean for its age and others seen ..had a nasty locker in the rear that came undone or broke so that will need to be addressed.. ran and drove fine before that ..have a full soft top and doors ..rear seat frame and an old military grill that’s pretty beat …sell or trade shoot me offer”
