This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “For sale is a 1946 Willys CJ2A I purchased in St. Louis. It was used as a true agrijeep, fitted with the early Jeep-A-Trench equipment. It has:
-Complete PTO system
-Complete gear-engagement system
-Trencher mount
-Coil helper springs
-Complete engine that turns free
-Trans/tcase”

The body has some floor rust, but look solid otherwise.
“This is a 1946 Willy’s. First year of civilian model. Was my grandpa’s car, got it when he passed away. Too much work for me right now. Has a 283 power pak small block V8 with the original 3 speed. Cadillac steering column and lots of new parts. Some rust in foot wells and some surface rust. I painted the entire outside with some brown rust inhibitor primer. Car will start up after some coaxing and just had the carb rebuilt. No brake lines attached.
Loads of new parts from Willys parts store.
$3000 OBO. Just make me an offer. Looking to get rid of it to fund another project.’

“Mostly original, Original Motor converted to 12V, New Aftermarket radiator with Dual Electric fans, New Water pump newer Gauges and Fuel Tank. New Windshield. Jeep Runs and drives fine. I just don’t use it as much as I would like and hate to see it sit. It was used mostly in parades including this years Veterans Day parade. I can send more pictures upon request.”

Generator isn’t charging, but looks like it may be a good price.
“I have a 1948 Willy’s Jeep. Its all original besides the paint. Runs and drives. Original flat head 4 cylinder. It is still a 6 volt system. Clear title. Its in great shape besides the paint. It has a brand new 6 volt battery in it. The generator is not charging currently but would be easy fix. Has always been garage kept. It has been setting around 7 years. It still has the original military tires on it”
