About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(03/16/2017) Looks good. Has a variety of updates.
“Buick V6 225, Power steering, Lockers Front and Rear, Hydraulic winch, Tow Bar, Bikini Top, and Full Top. Chevy Transmission four speed and transfer case. Tilt Wheel, custom dash, two fuel tanks. New tires and wheels. Box of Parts and rear seat. Electric Wipers.”
“This is a 1946 CJ2A Serial Number 48768 that is in original barn find condition. It has the hard to find governor and rear PTO setup for a farm jeep. It has many original part and has the original motor in it. It does not run, the motor does not turn over and the transmission and transfer case seem to be stuck as well. It is a great candidate for a restoration or just repair what’s needed and drive it. The front floors are the worst of the sheet metal, the rear quarter near the spare tire mount will need some work as well and the windshield is shot.”
“I’m selling my 1946 jeer willys project. I have done a lot of work but like has other plans for me, so I’m selling it.
I have a title for it, which is a big plus especially in Nj.
I have replaced the floors, hat channels, rear riser, steps, side braces, etc. please look at the pics. The left side of the body still needs some welding.
4 rims were sand blasted, primed and painted with automotive paint. 2 tires have new ndt tires mounted and I have one more tire and tube that needs to be mounted.
The engine was running before I disconnected everything in order to pull the body off. I also have 2 extra radiators and I have an extra working transmission because I’m not sure of the condition of the trans that’s in there.
I also have 2 extra bell housings and 2 flywheels, 2 extra engine heads, transmission mount, and lots of other parts that I’ve accumulated over the past few years including a rear seat, steering wheel, and many more parts.”
“1949 Jeep Willy’s was parked for years and was running. Needs maintenance, battery, fresh gas, and other things to make it reliable back woods transportation. No title.”
“Parade/Show Jeep. 1948 Willys, CJ-2A. An original, w/4 cyl. motor & 12 V. conversion. Two sets wheels/tires–white spokes & originals. NICE, inside & out. K-line top. Battery, near new. Show or drive! 8,500.00 OBO. ”
Should be some value here, especially with the hardtop.
“I have a cj5, good frame and drivetrain, rusted tub. A cj3b with hardtop. Motor I believe is locked up. Rusted frame and tub. And a cj2a? With a fiberglass body and no motor. No titles and can’t get any. Spare transmission and transfer case. Make a off-road buggy or find a title and rebuild one. Text is best or call and leave a message with phone number and will call back when I get service. No emails. Pics show what they are.”

It also has an original hood and headlight buckets. It has a brand new top and front and rear seats made by Wee Bee Webbing. This Jeep also has a brand new paint from Army Jeep Parts. All the gauges work and speedometer has also been calibrated. I am asking $11,500.00 OBO. ”
“P A R T I N G — 1947 Jeep CJ2A. located several blocks away from the Recently Closed K Mart on Auburn Blvd just south of The I 80 bridge. Parting entire jeep due to title problems with DMV over title malfunction and subsequent death of owner. I am in possession of the Title. Original motor has been replaced with an overhead cam style that actually fits into Jeep Pickups. Top is several years old and very good condition. Some rust is present. All parts currently available. Come look and buy what you want. I will dismantle for you. Call or come to 7566 Twin Oaks Avenue 95610. I am retired and almost always available.”
It’s rough. It’s listed as a 1945, but I see nothing to support that.
“True to the story. I inherited my grandfather’s 1945 Willys jeep, with title, and haven’t had the time to get the old girl back on the trail. I have the original flat head motor and three tranmissions, one mounted in the jeep. I will moving in a few months and looking to sell due to the limited space I will have. Please feel free to contact me with questions and I will answer the best I can. The jeep has not ran in about 6 years, but he used to drive it around his old property. The old flat head motor is out, needs work, and he built an aluminum cab that fits over the front seats. I have all the original engine parts.”
