“This is a project jeep, but it runs and drives so you can have fun with it while you work on it.
Needs rust repair, paint, transmission rebuilt, and everything else would enjoy attention. That said, it starts right up and drives fun. Has the original running gear (L134 flathead “go-devil” engine). Although generator has been swapped to an alternator. (12v system).
4wd works nice.
Comes with rare aluminum arctic top, with aluminum doors and accompanying windshield.”

Looks in good shape, but seller suggests it needs a little work.
“1946 Flat Fender, body off, ground-up restoration 15 years ago.
Restored to original. Everything new or rebuilt.
Everything works.
Less than 200 miles since restoration
Current reg & pink slip.
Must sell. Have receipts.
Converted to 12 volt/ Has turn signals, bucket seats, built-in battery tender.
No top; no wipers.
Needs just a little TLC.”
Looks to be a 2A that might have some MB parts. The seller is under the impression that an MB frame is a stronger frame.

“Starts right up, runs and drives!
I believe it may have been a Bureau of Highways (before caltrans) vehicle, hence it’s vintage Omaha orange color and enlarged marker flashers. It’s pink slip says CJ2a, but I’ve identified that it has a rare MB (side stamped) engine Willys go devil engine and an upgraded heavier duty MB frame too. The engine and frame look stock otherwise and are indistinguishable using the same parts, if you don’t these vehicle history.

Looks like a project.
“CJ2A trade for a 3/4 or 1 ton truck. I don’t have time for a project so truck must be running in its current state . Preferably a diesel. Preferably a Dodge. But will consider any 3/4 or 1 ton so let me see what you got.”

ONE OF THOSE DEALS, HE HAD DREAMS OF JEEPING AROUND WITH HIS WIFE BUT THE WIFE DREAMS OF NOT JEEPING AROUND. CLEAN TITLE. HAS ORIGINAL 4 CYCLINDER, SWITCHED OVER TO 12 VOLT SYSTEM. GREAT MILAGE AT PUTTING AROUND SPEEDS, LIKE A GALLON AN HOUR”
Needs head gasket examined.
“For sale 1947 Jeep Willy. Bought it, it runs but after running it for awhile header gasket leaked. Have a new header gasket but never but on. It starts but would only run it for a short time. While transporting the windshield frame broke.”
