About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“Up for sale is my 1948 Willys Cj2A. It runs and drives very well. It’s on 16-6.00 military tires in good shape with about 60-70% tread or so. The engine is an L134 flathead with aftermarket air cleaner set up with a K&N cone filter and foam pre-filter. Other than that it’s relatively stock, and runs strong with good oil pressure, fresh points, and a new coil. The Transmission and transfer case are also stock to my knowledge, other than the Warn overdrive added to the transfer case giving the jeep another set of forward gears. The T90 3 speed shifts well and the synchronizers seem to be in good shape. Unfortunately, both the transmission and transfer case leak oil at the input shaft and rear output shaft respectively. However, a full seal kit for both is included in the sale of the jeep. Continue reading →
When I bought it it didn’t run. New carb, new fuel pump, new coil and points. Got it running and is driveable but needs work. Mud or off road truck only. No title.”
“hello, today i decided to list for sale my 1949 willys jeep cj2a. this is the last year of the ww2 style, very minimal rust, vehicle is on 33’s with good tread, jeep is lifted by suspension lift but unknown how many inches, removable soft top, inline 6 engine, 3 speed on the floor with overdrive, 4wd and high/low range works. jeep has a steering column out of a chevy truck so you can lock the wheel which is good for security, but the shaft inside the column is loose, it works just fine but has play in it. also the tail lights are stuck on not sure why but i just disconnect the battery when i park it. i’m asking $7200 obo”
“Selling the Jeep that I don’t use any more. I bought it as a project, rebuilt it, and now with the lack of time I have decided to sell it. Many new parts which include brakes from master cylinder all the way to the calipers, body panels, multiple drive train parts. It runs well, the oil pressure is low but still within the standards set in the Jeep manual. If I was to keep it, I would pull the original 4 cylinder and have it rebuilt. All new wiring, lights, reupholstered seats, bed liner sprayed in, sandblasted rolling chassis and professionally painted body.”
