This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was auctioned.
This will be auctioned Sept 27th. It’s listed as a ’47, but has full floating hubs and tool indents.It also appears to have the earliest CJ-2A serial number data plate on the left of the three dash plates. The plates themselves have been trimmed at the corners, then redrilled and pop riveted onto the dash. This could be a ’45.

“For sale 1946 Willys cj-2a. All original. It has the 4 cylinder flathead,3 speed transmission and hi and look transfer case. It has lockouts for the front end. Radiator has been rebuilt. The jeep runs and drives good. The brakes work good as well. Fuel tank is newer. Tires are like new on original 16 inch wheels. I have a new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing that goes with it. The throwout bearing is starting to make noise.Body is in good condition. It’s a nice flat fender. It has a clear Missouri title.”

It has been fun, but it has to go.
Currently installed is a small block 350, not running, it was, you can figure it out.
No battery, bring your own, if you want to turn it over.
I have a better early 283 small block engine that also goes with it.
Orginal T18 transfer case with real Warn overdrive, yes she will easily do over 65.
Turbo 350
Larger than orginal axles, I think they are Dana 60’s, but I do not remember.
Extra stuff that goes with it.
The extra motor, early 283, good little motor. I took out this running, to put in the 350, I should have stayed with the 283 motor.
Extra 47 non cut up frame.
1980’s bellhousing, 4 speed, transfer case from 3/4 pickup.”
