This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Looks in good shape.
“1946 flat fender, body off , ground up resto 15 years ago. Restored to original. Everything new or Rebuilt. Everything works. Less than 100 miles since resto. Current reg Clean pink. Must sell. Have receipts. Converted to 12 volt. Has turn signals. Bucket seats. Built in batt tender. No top no wipers. Needs just a little TLC to make perfect due to not being used very much.”

Mike’s got this nicely updated CJ-2A for sale. It’s a good option for someone who wants a fairly stock 2A, but also wants a jeep capable of exploring the rubicon and other nearby trails. “This 1948 Willys CJ-2A was acquired by the seller three years ago from the second owner, who performed a host of unique modifications during his 27 years of ownership. The seats have been reupholstered and the truck is equipped with a roll bar, vinyl top, full-size spare, gas cans, and five chromed wheels with off road tires. A carbureted V6 has been installed in place of the factory “Go Devil” four cylinder motor, and is paired to a 3-speed manual gearbox with a 2-speed transfer case. The suspension is equipped with Rancho monotube struts and shocks. The seller is offering this Willys with a clean Nevada title in his name.”

Original looking, mostly; Excellent condition? Not so much.
“I have an all original 1947 willys jeep for sale in excellent condition. Motor purrs like a cat and all of the drive terrain is in good working order. Only rust on the vehicle is between the fenders by the tailgate. This is a great vehicle for trail romping and would be a prime candidate for restoration. Either way the vehicle would make any one happy.”

“For sale is a 1946 willys CJ2a. I got this as a project 20 years ago and never got work on it. Has original L134 engine, last turned over about 10 years ago. Frame is bent and the tub is rusted. This would be great for parts for another restoration project. Asking $900 obo (does not have title)”
