Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (07/19/2017) It runs, but needs brake work.
“This is a 1948 Jeep Willys. Have a clean title. The jeeps runs but needs work. Gas tank is rusted so it could use a new one ($150). I just run the fuel line to a big of fuel when it’s running. The water pump gasket leaks so that will need attention. The brakes could use some work but for an all original willys this thing is in pretty good shape. If you have questions just let me know and I’ll do my best to get you answers.”
