About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Nice willys CJ2A, civilian model ,mostly everything on this is new or rebuilt or restored, very nice running jeep, have all receipts and paper work, $10,900 only phone calls only can be answered no email or text, please call #”
“Restored Jeep from ground up. Original power train gone through and flat head four cylinder runs like a watch and uses no oil. Brakes at the wheels need some work as they leak fluid slowly. Probably just bleeder plugs. Other that that very nice. I would call it excellent condition. This is a civilian version of the Army Jeeps used in war time. It also has a new Holley fuel pump. Other than that, it is true to the period. It has 113 miles on the build. It has a clear title.”
“For Sale by private party:
(1) Clean complete 1947 Willys CJ2A Open Jeep, [green paint]. Data plates intact. Comes with everything except a rear seat, rims and tires, and fuel tank, Restoration project, but a sound one, frame is bent up front, spare mint frame and many spare parts come with the jeep. From the oil bath air filter down to the 9″ brakes, this jeep is complete. The Jeep is a rolling chassis, with a miss-matched set of OEM 16 inch rims and two 15 inch rims mounted. This will roll right up on to your trailer. Everything not on the jeep is in the jeep and / or in a box for the jeep. The L134 motor is not running, but it is the original L134 Flathead. This jeep’s tub has been entirely rebuilt using 1/8” diamond plate steel. It is remarkable. I am estimating someone put about 150-200 hrs in the body re-work alone.
AND (1) CJ3A, [cammo paint scheme], which is also a rolling chassis, no data plate, no motor trans or transfer case. Differentials are sound and have WARN hubs on the front.
AND (1) spare tub, [red primer], complete with footman loops and all bolt-on hardware
AND (1) spare CJ3A frame–razor straight, no cuts and no modifications. This frame is near perfect, a 98/100. It is sitting on some crop crushers to keep it mobile. I will throw in the gin frame it’s sitting on to help you get it on your trailer. Continue reading →
Has a 2A windshield and grille. It’s listed as a 1953.
“It’s a willy’s Jeep that does run but still needs to be towed. Not sure of the year no title. Plates were up to date til last year. The guy who owned it passed away.”
