About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Flat fender. No rust. Buick 231V6, headers. High quality power steering with Camero tilt steering wheel. Roll bar. Soft top. New radiator. 31″ Yokohama tires. Recently rebuilt.”
“Here are two Willys. One is a 1946 and one is a 1948. They are project cars but everything is here. Frame is in great shape on both and both have clean titles. Both have motors but the green motor is pulled out of it. The motor in the red one is in it and Is free. Asking $1500 call or text ”
“1949 CJ2a need it gone, can’t work on it for at least 2 years so I need to get rid of it. It cranks so the engine isn’t seized and the tires do inflate. It has a F-134 engine instead of the L-134 Go Devil. I’m in Portland and you will need a trailer to move it. Comes with a sheet metal cab and doors, can be worth money by themselves.”
This has a VEC body. It also might have a rare Porter and Reed Type “B” Deluxe Half Top.
“1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A has a flat head 4 cylinder engine and all high lows was a good running rig 15 years ago, comes with extra parts. The jeep would make a great hunted rig. ”
“It’s a 1946 cj2a with 4×4 and the original 4 cylinder motor and it all works as it should! She’s not a show truck by any means, but runs solid- starts every time the first time- and goes in and out of 4×4 without issue. I try to start it just and drive it every now and then to keep everything fresh. Tires have great tread all the way around and I have a tons of extra parts (Turn signals, mirrors, etc). I also do have the original windshield as well.
No serious rust issues. Normal surface rust in places and some crappy old bondo work on the fender, but that’s about it.”
“1947 CJ2A. Everything on the jeep has been gone through over the last 6 months.
Has a Buick dauntless 225 v6 that runs great. Plenty of power for this little jeep.
All new fluids in differentials, transmission, x-fer case, and engine.
New coolant, hoses and thermostat.
Carb. cleaned and rebuild kit installed
New fuel pump and cleaned gas tank and lines.
New plugs, wires, hotter cool, point and cap.
All gauges, signals, and wiring work as they should.
Body tub is lined with bed liner.
CJ5 seats with 3-point seat belts.
Tilt steering column.
16″ period correct rims, with tires that have less than 100 miles on them.
Custom built front and rear bumper with d-ring attachment points.
Spare tire was relocated to the back of the jeep with an integrated high lift jack mount.
Has bikini top.
Will throw in a transmission for parts, and some soft top doors.
I set this jeep up to be capable trail rig for weekend camping trips.
Absolutely needs nothing!”
(06/17/2016) Appears to be a column shift. Might be a VEC.

“Rare and hard to find 1947 Willys jeep, runs and drives, needs some TLC, needs brake work. But have the new lines and pads. It has a standard transmission. Title in hand.”
