“This is one hell of a find! 1947 Willy’s runs pretty good with it’s V6 engine 3speed Manual. Asking $3,000obo”
Blaine spotted this collection of four hundred vehicles for sale. At least one is a later model CJ-2A.
Given the new stuff, this is worth a look.
“It’s with great regret that I have to sell my jeep Willys before I could get to it. I have another build that’s going to take all of my attention this year. Literally selling this for exactly how much i have in it which is $3200 firm! I have $1000 in new era correct rims and tires. $700 in restoration parts and paint. As well as a new gas tank. Clear TN title. 1947 jeep Willys drum brakes are disconnected or inoperable. I have only found a couple surface rust spots on the frame. Which is amazing for a cj2. Previous owner said the jeep drove to here house two years ago on its own and was under a tarp ever since. Overall great shape, will be worth a lot even partially restored. Do a broad search you won’t find a better deal!”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $600.
There seems to be value here.
“Here is a rolling chassis, tub, radiator, transmission, and other Willys parts for sale. Would make a great project!”
Could be worth a look.
“1947 Willys Jeep CJ2 body. Has the two front fenders, tailgate intact, NO hood, grill, frame or motor. $500. It has issues on the one side, the passenger side, they added sheet-metal and Bondo. ”
Nice Sears top, but the rest needs more work
“350 motor, hard top, 4in lift. Need restoration finished. Call with questions”
The paint looks a little odd in that last pic of the tailgate. I can’t tell if it has been touched up or if it’s a reflection (I think it is the latter). I’m also a little puzzled about the PTO bar. It looks like it sits at an angle?
“For sale is a Beautiful 1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep. Has 72,000 original miles. Runs and Drives perfectly. Converted to 12 volt, 4 wheel drive high and low. Has brand new military tires, new brakes, new battery, full soft top and doors, roll bar, and new interior. Gets looks and questions every time we drive it.”
This has full floaters and the early windshield. Might be as early as 1945.
“1945 Jeep Willys rolling chassis. New floor plans installed. Has hood, fenders, windshield, and steering column. Asking $1800, but open to offers.”
Runs, drives, no brakes and hole in block.
“1946 Willys Jeep. Runs and drives. Needs brakes. Has a leak in the block that may be fixable. Great project vehicle or for parts. Drive train is worth more than I’m asking.”
Both are a little rough.
“Two tubs; $200 each. Two fenders, one windshield and one hood and two grills; $50 each. $500 total if you buy all. Bring a strong friend and trailer or truck for hauling.”
