About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1948 Willys Jeep, V8, ran when parked in November 2019. Believe it is a 50’s era 265 v8. It has rust and has been sitting for 4 plus years. Old man had aspirations to restore and rebuild, time has passed with nothing done. Needs work, cool rig.”
“I have a 1946 Willy’s flat fender with a dauntless V6, 3 speed transmission split shift transfer case.. tires r good, runs great. I’ve driven it from Delhi to calaveras co and back with no problems. It does need paint and has some rust, I started patching rust already in the main spots but the salt from the Idaho roads really took a toll on the body. But it’s still a cool jeep. Nothing a little paint can’t cover up ?. Also needs seats, I have a back seat but need front seats.. also have a hard top for it.. I hate to sell it but things got bad for me real quick and need the money.. I’m asking $4000- and probably won’t go down from that price. May be open to trade. Lmk. What u have. Please no junk. I want Something running. Jeep is registered as well”
“Old Jeep Willie that is a good project car. This car does not start as of now (ignition / key problems), but it did run a few years ago when I drove it. I do not have the title either – asking $4000 OBO”
(12/12/2023) This has a variety of updates. Note the unusual u-bolt plates on the back of this build. My guess is that this is any upside down ‘box’ design to protect then u-bolt nuts from being damaged on trails.
“1947 willys jeep. Very fast and very freeway drivable do to awsome muncie 4 speed, shift perfect. 350 chevy corvette double hump heads cam edelbrock intake manifold and carburetor, headers. Newer brakes, mastercylinder and power steering pump. Will set for long periods of time and start immediately electric fuel pump. Binimi top. New bucket seats .axle braces. “1946 Willys CJ2a. Complete. Runs. Clear title. Has a top. Brakes, lights, etc. all work. Original engine I believe. The engine could use a rebuild. I drive it as is. In Reno/Carson area. You will need to ask questions and see it.”
“1948 with 1953 Frame and running gear. Dana 44 in the rear. Runs and drives. All new wiring. Needs brakes still. Have paperwork for CA title. Need VIN Verification complete for plates”

“My personal Antique Tractor Show display. It’s very original one previous family owned, runs, drives, stops and has Willys Special Equipment, King – Sealy Governor, complete Rear PTO w/ Buzz Saw attachment. Not fancy, could use bodywork and a solid $15,000 value. I’m in hospice care and want this in other loving Willys hands. Family not interested. Let me hear from you with a CASH OFFER or a payment plan my family can work with. Like to get this done.”
“This is a 1948 Willys Jeep, it’s got a fireball buick v6 in it that’s paired with the original 3 speed transmission with reverse/transfer case. Runs amazing. 4 wheel drive and high and low work great. Full frame of restoration, ZERO RUST! Front disc brake conversion, has some wiring gremlins that need fixed. Headlights and rear lights work fine. Solid runner! Open to trades or offers. Motivated seller, pls feel free to reach out!”
