These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (01/25/2017) Looks in good shape, but it isn’t as stock as seller suggests. (rear lights, front parking lights. no engine gutter, different steering wheel, seats, swing brakes, ….)

“Selling my willys. When I bought it I was told it was a 1953 willys cj3a but someone who came because they needed a cj3- says it is actually a 1948 cj2a with a cj3a windshield. Either way It is a willys project. floor boards have been replaced. Only reason I’m selling is because I have too many projects. 4cyl engine partially installed – never heard it run but makes compression when turned over by hand. its still a 6v system. have the generator, but no starter. Solid – has some rust underneath but well worth the time and effort. no title bill of sale only. ”
