This is likely a 1948 CJ-2A, but not 100% sure.

“Willys jeep for sale? (Do not have Title) Engine runs great and transmission is also great condition. Needs new water pump, battery, and will eventually need new tires. (Do not know mileage) Brakes do not work. This is a manual transmission.”
The top on this is an interesting one. I thought it was a Porter & Reed (the front portiion appears identical (maybe built from that design?), but it has angled edges along th sides of the top rear rather than rounded ones. Another Kanas-based aircraft-related manufacturer of hardtops was Blue Star, but this doesn’t look like one of theirs.

“95% bone stock 1947 Willys CJ 2a Jeep. Orig flathead 4 cylinder engine w/3 SPD trans and stock transfer case. Engine has not been started for approx 20 years but turns freely by hand. Body in decent shape w/75 years worth of dings, dents and rust. The hat channels are needing the most work. The top (aluminum)is a unique “military look” that, according to original owner, was built and installed by a Wichita aircraft manufacturer in 1948. The interior seats, including the rear seat, are correct. The transmission and transfer move into their gears freely but the unit seems to leak an excessive amount of fluid into the driveway. The engine also seeps oil from the oil pan drain plug. Frame is in excellent condition showing only a slightly bent front bumper end. This is a very original 1947, the perfect candidate for a resto. Currenly registered and titled. Numerous extra parts included: f & r axles, trans / trans case etc. Rolls freely on old tires.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
Project or parts.

“Nice little Jeep Willy’s that comes with a parts Jeep. Has been a good running Jeep for the past two years for me and my family on the farm. It has a new carburetor and I put an electronic distributor in it. Things that will need to be fixed is a brake line, an ignition since I lost the key in a recent move. The starter was rebuilt and the shop that rebuilt pit the wrong gear on it so it hangs up on the flywheel. Last summer I would pull start and it would stay running all day if I wanted to. Haven’t tried to start this year yet but it should be fine. Do not have title”
Unclear how much value is here.

“1947 Willys Jeep, VIN #CJ2A97816”
This seems to be a 1946 and has the early windshield and a column shifter, so likely it’s a VEC. However, it lacks indents. I can’t tell if it has full floating rear hubs or not.

“Hi there, I’m looking for a new and loving home for my Grandfather’s 1947 Willys CJ2A. He was the second owner and was in the middle of having a full restoration done on the truck before he passed away, and I unfortunately do not have the time to show it the love it deserves.
The body is straight, there are no dents, there is no rust, and it has a brand new paint job in a light metallic blue. If you are familiar with Willys you may notice that he updated the windshield frame the the later model to give it a rounder overall look. The engine, transmission, transfer case, and differentials were rebuilt and are installed in the truck, the only thing not installed is the front driveshaft.
I have two sets of doors to go with the jeep and a handful of the original parts to help put it back together. And it has a clean title. I’m asking $15,000 OBO, I know from the receipts I found he has much more than that into it. Trades welcome. I hope to find it a great new home.”
