Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Seller believes this to be only one of 30 1946 CJ-2As left. That’s only off by 71,500 (and change) jeeps produced that year. Has a fiberglass tub.

“1946 CJ2A in good condition. Engine turns over but the fuel pump failed about 2 weeks ago. All ‘original’. Currently inspected and street legal. New electronic ignition, new fuel gauge sender, restored oil bath air cleaner, like new tires, new battery, and in over all good condition.”
