Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. I have several hundred dollars in new parts. I have no pictures, but will make appointments for serious buyers to see it . I have a good clear title”

Back fenders have been cut, but is supposed to be solid otherwise.
“1947 willys jeep body restored condition. the pics are of it covered in dust but it’s been stripped down, repaired, primed and painted. back fenders have been cut for larger tires. can be fixed if that’s what you want but I was going to make a crawler with it. also have a 67 bronco chassis to go under it with a 302 and a granny four speed if anyone is interested in the whole set up..”

“1946 Jeep Willys CJ2A
The good: Drivetrain is rock solid. Engine smooth with no knocking, ticking or smoking. 4WD high and low good. Transmission good.
The bad: Well, look at it
Classic barn find. Has never been on the road, has never had a plate. Was sold back in the day as a farm implement and then spent a lot of its life at a cabin in Wisconsin. I have the title from 1979 and my Indiana title all clear and normal.
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2750.
Looks like a good price.
1947 Willys CJ 2A. Runs and drives good, has original L-head engine. 4×4 drive train works well. I have owned the jeep for the last 16 years and in the last year replaced the head gasket and installed a new master cylinder. Brakes work but wheel cylinders need some attention. Has 6 volt system and needs a battery. Title and registration current.”
