These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “46 CJ2A with 66 Mustang 289, T90 3 speed, Dana 18 tcase, Dana axles, 5.38 gears, upgraded steering gear, swing pedals, custom fuel tank, this was somebody’s baby, tub has been blasted and primed, most everything there to make a fun toy, want to trade for CJ5 or CJ7”
Solid, nice looking jeep, but still short of all original (even virtually).
“Rare, virtually all original, unmodified 1947 CJ2a. “Go Devil” L-head (L134) motor & non synchro T-90 manual transmission (double clutch shift). 35-40 mph max speed.
Drives like a 70 year old jeep!
Original 16″ Willys steel wheels powder coated satin black, military tires with tubes. Odometer reads just over 400 miles since restoration. 12v upgrade. Optima battery. Always garaged.
Also has newer black best top with doors and back bench seat reupholstered at the Top Shop in Eugene. Has windshield tie down strap. Registered as a historic vehicle.”

“Starts up and runs well has new non directional military tires, exhaust, brake lines except been sitting for a while has ether leaked out the break fluid or master cylinder need a rebuild. Engine – some work has been done, trans and transfer case works well. Converted to 12 volt but i do have original 6 volt generator. Also new after market gauges and other parts along with new olive drab canvas seat covers. The frame is in very good shape, The tub-meaning body needs work. Price is firm, these jeeps are getting harder to find.”
