Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Lots of updates.
“1952 flatfender jeep. This is a trail jeep. Has a clean title and is registered. I say it’s a trail jeep because it will only go 50 mph. I drive on the street short distances every couple weeks. It has a Chevy 4.3 V6 engine, a sm420 granny low 4 speed transmission, and a Dana/spicer 18 transfer case. Dana 44 axles out of a wagoneer front has a lock right locker and rear is a spool. Both have 5.38 ratios. 36×12.5-15 super swamper radials almost new on beadlocks rims. 4 wheel disc brakes. Spring over suspension in stock yj wrangler springs.”

“Very cool jeep. New clutch and head gasket. Motor is painted but the rest of the jeep is original metal. Look at pictures for more details. I am looking for another antique vehicle and I like patina look so just send me offers, all I can say is no lol. Just testing the waters. Thanks”

“Fully restored CJ2a Jeep. 1946 Frame up. All original. New head gasket,new wiring, 8volt conversion for better starting, new gauges, new top, new tires, etc. Only has a few miles on it since the restore. Asking 19.500 and am open to negotiation.”

(03/10/2016) Looks solid.
“This jeep is in great shape and runs great too. It has a V6 engine with chrome headers and an automatic transmission that was rebuilt in 2013. The 4wd works like new it also has been framed off with NO RUST. Several new parts such as lights, gas tank, gauges to many to list. I have a bunch of pictures taken all through out the restoration. I’m selling this for my dad it is actually in Athens TX but we would consider delivering it Thanks for looking.”

“Very nice Willys in good shape. Runs great. Good tires. Have two back seats for it. Nice paint. Large winch that operates off the PTO. Storage rack on top. New plugs, air filter, windshield. Title in hand. Not tagged. May be open to trades. We are looking for New Solar Batteries…. DO NOT SEND EMAIL..”

“Running 1947 jeep Willys have clear title in hand. This jeep has been sitting a few years it fires right up on fuel down the carb it needs a fuel pump. Which I have a brand new one in the box. Also complete tune up kit which includes plugs, wires, points, condenser distributor cap, Also a new voltage regulator, 6v battery, Coil and oil filter. Also have 2 extra wheels and tires and have bought a used set of Cj low back seats to put in it. The floor has rust issues like most do. Someone has tired to patch not restoration quality work but ok for a toy. Would like what I have in it 2200.00 or equal trade on something of value.”
