Looks like a nice combo. Can’t be too many in the area.
“1946 Willys Jeep frame off restoration, body was sand blasted, undercoated, and painted. It has completely new wiring that has been upgraded to 12v. New carburetor, steering joints, seats, windows, tires and a lot more. Tires and rims are era correct. It runs and drives great. It comes with a trailer that has also been sandblasted and painted to match. The trailer has the original pintle hitch and the turn and stop lights work. A lot more work and parts have been put into both the trailer and the Jeep than what was listed here.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $500.
Not sure how much value is here.
“1950’s, parts only no title, body very good shape, tires new, 4 cylinder IH engine don’t know if it runs, needs complete wiring, interior, gauges, brakes, etc. comes with tow bar.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6250.
(10/06/2013) “Must sell my beautiful flatfender jeep, very nicely rebuilt including many, many new parts. All stock except for it was converted to 12 volts with an alternator. My first car was a ’47 Willys CJ2A, which I bought when I was 16 and sold when I was 26 because I needed a truck for my business. This Jeep was an attempt to recapture the good ol’ days, which really aren’t that easy to get back at 59! My attention is now on restoring a Jeep FC 170 and I need to sell the old ’46 to finance the project. It’s got a clear title and is ready to run.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1800.
Given the trailer it is worth a look.
“Runs and drives. Only driven in yard. No breaks. Stuck valve on number one cylinder.”
Needs work, but there might be value here.
“1947 cj2a jeep for sale . Needs some work”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6500.
Bill forwarded this ad. The body is aluminum. It’s listed as a 1942, but the chassis is likely newer than that.
“942 Willys jeep, aluminum body, nice rims, new tires, V-6 crossfire motor, power sterring, new springs,.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
(05/23/2015) Sounds like it needs some work.
“Selling my 47 cj2a jeep, it has a 283 SBC motor, the frame has been completely boxed, the rear brakes are brand new but the system needs to be bled. It has a 3 spd trans in it now but not a T-90, I have an SM420 4 spd that goes with it along with a Novak adapter for the D18 TC, I also have a rebuild kit for the trans. The D 41 rear axle has a Loc-Rite locker in it and the D25 up front is all stock. The jeep has the usual rust areas but is completely repairable, the wiring needs to be gone through but the jeep ran when I put it in the garage. I also have 3 GM tilt columns that will go with it as that was what I was going to put in it. I will post some pics in a day or so, thanks for looking!”
