This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
It includes a second parts’ jeep.
“Selling a restorable 47′ willys cj2a jeep. Was running a few years ago, then parked in barn. Drivetrain is complete and in decent condition, will not take much to get her running again. Body is not in the best condition, but some metal welded in is all it needs to be a great old jeep. Floors have small rust thru holes all over.
Comes with another cj2a for parts, a complete jeep without engine.”
Runs and drives, but could use some visual improvements. It includes a passenger gas tank.

The jeep was rear-ended.
“1946 CJ2A Willys Jeep- This jeep was 90% fully restored all original to vin number range when I was rear ended last year. The frame is cracked and body has been damaged but can be repaired. I have a second frame that I am including if you are looking to do a frame off restore, but otherwise the current frame is repairable. Want to see somebody put this jeep back on the road rather than sitting idle in my garage.
Also comes with several boxes of extra parts, gaskets, new seat back cushions etc, a roll bar designed specific to cj2a.
All new brake work and suspension was done just before I was rear ended. ”

(12/02/2015) Looks solid, but those steps have been redone and the drain hole filled.

“Classic WWII era Jeep Willys CJ 2A up for sale. This Willys has been highly modified with many modern touches.
Drivetrain: The original 4cyl has been replaced with a 1979 Buick 252CI V6 engine that has a torque grid RV cam with a new Holley 4bl 470CFM Truck Avenger carburetor. This carburetor is made for the high angles involved in off roading. It keeps the engine running even when the Jeep is at the tipping point. Engine is also equipped with a AC compressor converted to an Air compressor with a switch on the dash. Exhaust is true duals with flowmaster mufflers. The transmission is a GM turbo 350 3 speed automatic with a 1500rpm low stall converter. It has a Dana 18 transfer case, the strongest version with full complement roller bearings on the center pin and it has been completely rebuilt. Continue reading
