Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Runs and drives, but brakes leak a little.
“Engine runs well with new alternator, breather, plugs, carburetor. New wheel cylinders but still have small leak in brake lines. Slips out of 2nd gear but otherwise drives well. Clean title.”

“IF YOU SEE THIS ADD IT IS STILL AVAILABLE! 1948 Willys cj2-a. Jeep is complete with original half cab, original add on radiator grill screen and complete plow set up, plow not pictured at this time. All original from new. I have had this for about 7 years. Planned on a restore but plans changed. Traveled and bought from the original owner, a old lady in Missouri. Unit is very restorable. Price is $1000 Firm. I know the plow on this unit is worth 500-700 so this a great deal. come get it! Does not run and will need a lot of work. “

“I have a 1948 cj2a willys body and frame frame is rough set up for v8 the front half of the fram is boxed in. The body is in pretty decent condition has some rust call or text for more info or pics”

(07/06/2014) A project.
“I have a 47 jeep with title, the tub needs floors and is dented and rusty in spots. I found it on a ranch out by Ontario, it had been sitting since the 90’s. The engine turns over and holds compression but at the time it didnt have a carb so I didnt start it. I was going to just make a 4×4 that I could drive around, nothing fancy. I will part it out as it is complete, the front sheet metal is included with the sale as is the windshield. I removed them to facilitate and engine swap with a 4.3L Chevrolet.
