(11/02/2013) It’s a project.
“1947 jeep willys flattie. This is a project vehicle that has everything minus the engine. It is all setup to run a small block ford v8 in front of the c6 auto transmission, but i already sold the mustang motor that was in it. I started ground up restoration, taking the body off and sandblasting/painting the frame. Body is solid and virtually rust free (except some surface rust due to unfinished sanding and priming), as this was a southern tennesee vehicle. I have titled the vehicle in wisconsin, so no issues there. Basically an easy project to put back together as there isn’t much complication to these early jeeps. Flatfenders are getting harder to find in good condition, and this one is already all setup for a v8! Definayely will be one of a kind when finished. Asking 1800.00 or best offer, as I don’t have the time to finish.”
UPDATE: Was $900. **SOLD**
Looks like a great price.

“In July 2013 I purchased this jeep as a restoration project for my husband. He had begun the basics. The awesome thing is it ran great & we had taken it, playing in the desert, numerous times. He was diagnosed with cancer Jan. 2014 & crossed over 55 days later. Although I hate to part with it… It deserves more than just sitting in a garage.”
UPDATE: Seller ended last auction. Buy-it-now price dropped to $8000.
Here’s a very restorable VEC. It is one of the last 1945 CJ-2As produced.
