Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Ready for the summer.
“Very origional and sound Jeep I restored a few years ago.
Painted to origional michigan yellow.
Engine rebuilt and runs great the transmission is tight and 4 wheel works like new. Still 6 volt electrical. Must see to appreciate.
I believe mileage to be correct but can’t prove.”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4700.
“1947 Jeep CJ-2A, original PTO winch, 401 Big Block, Dual Exhaust, Full Roll Cage, Aluminum Arctic Top, military front end, custom gas tank, brake rebuild (hard/soft lines, pads, etc), POR-15 interior coating, stock wheels on it now, also set of 31″ (non-matching). Jeep has collector plates ($200 value), never register again.”
It is supposed to include a 3-point hitch.
