Looks like a nice combo.
“1946 Willys CJ2A with Bantam trailer: Jeep in Very Good condition inside and out. Trailer needs minor work. Runs good. Always Garaged.
Not necessary to purchase trailer with the Jeep, but the trailer will not be sold alone.
Jeep and Trailer- $10,000.”
Based on the pics, I”m not seeing a $40k jeep. Nice looking jeep.
“registered as 1950 ford, but is actually a early 1940’s. It has been painstakingly rebuilt from the body up by owner. Updated axles, transmission and engine. To many upgrades to list, but will answer any questions when you call.
Asking $40,000 since I currently have 50,000 invested! Less than 1,000 miles since completion of rebuild. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like any further information!”

Looks solid, but could use some better pics.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3900
The body is rough.
“This is a very early Civilian Jeep aka CJ 2A aka “Agro Jeep”. These early Jeeps still had the ax and shovel imprints on the driver side panel.
Originally it had the 3 speed column shift levers but sometime later on, this one had the shift tower replaced with the 3 speed shift cane. The transmission still has the linkage levers for the column shift.
This Jeep was used primarily as a Hunting Jeep/ Ranch Jeep. We cleaned her up and replaced the engine with a more period correct block. The replacement engine was not rebuilt but it checked out good and it runs great.
The brakes were also replaced and the most evident leaks were repaired.
Jeep drives good. It still needs some basic up keep but it’s a good runner / driver.
No title but all of the Data Plates are there. I will help with obtaining a title.”
Titled as a ’46, this looks more like a CJ-3A to me.
“Time to thin out my herd of toys. Titled as a 1946 but has a later Fhead engine, later windshield frame so who knows. The engine sounds pretty good, the gas is really old so stinks a little smoke, newer exhaust, new plugs, wires, filters, oil change etc. Has nealry brand new BFG ATKO tires, no rust, has good brakes, has a Saginaw steering box, runs and drives well but needs some “tinkering” Would be a good hunting Jeep. restore or leave as is.”
This might have a mb/gpw body.
“I have a willys jeep for sale . “For Sale red 1947 CJ2A Jeep. In good condition. It is not a show Jeep… its a survivor. Lots of original parts as well as some Bubba modifications. It can be driven as is. I have two parts jeeps come with the jeep. Parts Jeeps are 1946 and in very rough shape… not complete! Pictures to follow… wanted to get this up while I was thinking of it. Divorce is forcing me to get rid of a very dear toy… I will miss it.”
