This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Body appears to have bondo (or something else) on the passenger side. Still, it runs and drives!

The photo makes it appear the jeep tilts forward, but I’m betting that’s an optical illusion, unless the front wheels are really really small. I don’t think they are that small.

“Rare 45 cj2a. #217 of 1824 built in 45. Completely disassembled for storage. Body has rust but very saveable. I belive the motor is a 47 or 48 & is stuck. $1500 obo”
Now powered by a flathead 6.
“Great running, solid Jeep. Flathead 6 cyl New brakes, hubs, drums etc. brand new tires (5), new steering joints, exhaust system, 12v with alternator.
This Jeep runs and drives well on the road and the 4WD works fine.
Possible trade for a YJ Jeep or classic motorcycle /car/ truck. ”

Motor is a 1962 Ford Falcon 260cu in. V8, carburetor 2 years old.
Transmission- 3 speed with Overdrive, 4X4 high/ low, locking hubs.
–Front tow bar, Winch, Fold down front windshield, Jeep bucket seats, Removable soft top and doors about 5 years old, spare tire.”
