“Willy’s Jeep 1955 Antique. Great rebuild project, non-running.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2000.
(10/17/2019) Has a pto winch. Body will need work.
“I have a CJ3a That actually runs. The body needs replacing. I put a few brake lines on it and got the brakes working. It has a cheesy electrical fuel pump currently but it will crank up run drive a stop. I haven’t cranked it up since july. The Pto winch has all the parts. This is a good project jeep that needs fully restoring. I do have a clean title.”
UPDATE: Status Unknown. Was $6500.
The seller has provided a very complete description. Includes an overdrive.
“I am selling my used driver quality Willys Jeep CJ-3A. This is a great “drive-it-like-it-is” rig. Starts, runs, drives, and stops exactly as it should; even the parking brake works (could use some adjustment though to hold on a hill…). It’s not perfect, won’t win any concours, but a solid driver. Most of the work you usually have to do when you drag home an old jeep has been done. It’s been driven on the road as well having seen off-roading adventures at the NH Trail Ride and Rausch Creek PA. Used but not abused as they say. Tough to find solid non-rotted originals like this in New England. I can be tough to get a hold of on the phone based on my work schedule so texts and emails are preferred.
The Saturn overdrive allows easy cruising speeds of 55 mph (or better?). The original 3A motor was pulled previously and replaced with a fresher MB motor out of a genset. Continue reading
Interesting oil filter bracket mounting idea. Perhaps it will hold up better than the stock setup, which sometimes cracks (I’ve had two of the stock ones crack).

“1950 Jeep Willys cj3 project”
UPDATE: **SOLD**
$2500 each or $4000 for both. The 3B has the passenger side vent, and no script on the hood, so it might be later 60s model. The ‘1945’ has rear floaters, but might be a 3A.
“Two (2) Willys Jeep projects, 1945 & 1954 both are complete less motors, these are barn find projects, Wife says I have too many projects and need to down size, asking $2,500.00 each or $4,000.00 as a package deal. May consider trade for a good welder.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3800.
Runs.
“Great project jeep: Owned for 44 years, this jeep used on dairy farm for 17 years and then put in storage. 4 cylinder, flathead engine, runs smooth. Has original old-school locking hubs. Needs brakes. A great project for street or off-road use.”
