About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“For sale is a 1950 Jeep CJ3A project car.
The engine is original and has already been rebuilt and restored to excellent condition. The transmission has not been rebuilt because it is already in good condition. Also included are new floor pans, trunk deck and fenders. As you can see from the photos, the majority of the car has been sandblasted.
This is perfect for anyone looking for a fun weekend project/restoration.
Price is $5000 cash.”
“1950s Willy’s Jeep. This Jeep has almost all of its original body parts and all of it original drivetrain besides the motor. It also has both front bucket seats and the frame for the original rag top including the frames for the rag doors. The floors are rusted along with the rockers. This Jeep would make a great parts Car or make a cool rat rod.”
“Good tires, Ramsey 8500 lb. capacity winch, lockers, great in snow, in rough condition, but great for off road or ranch work Swisher receiver hitch. New Battery, but needs to be charged since it’s been sitting a while. Used an atv snow plow thru the winch, but plow was sold. I believe it has a small Ford engine, but not sure. Husband passed, so I don’t have specific info on it.”
“Body is straight put Toyota axles under it all brakes and shocks are new no motor have a couple different transmissions have chrome rims interior is roll on bed liner”
“Shipped in from California a few years ago…1942 Jeep has had modern upgrades and is for the individual looking to drive/use it, not for the purest. The frame has been channeled and reinforced, re-powered by a HIC equipped 12v Buick v6 coupled to a 4sp SM420 with warn overdrive.
Steering uses a modern box and linkage, shock towers moved higher and reinforced. Custom full cage, front and rear bumpers. The PRP bucket seats have been pushed back into the boxed a wheel wells for a more comfortable driving position. It sits on 33” swampers and true beadlocks. The upgrades done have been to improve on/off road safety and capability It’s a very light and easy Jeep to maintain/trailer, every time I have it at an event it’s the only one of its kind. Family wants to travel with me looking for a JK if you have a trade.”
