This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (08/02/2019) Looks like there is a hitch receptical in the passenger side of the rear bumper. Never seen that. Maybe it’s some kind of holder/carrier that can be attached?

“For sale. Old Willys jeep. Best I can tell it’s between 1946 to 1950. Has a buick V-6 in it. Looks like it would run. pretty clean. Haven’t tried it. Has a lift kit. New BFG mud terrains. New rims. Needs work. Has some rust, not too bad. looks to be pretty complete. Needs front drive line, and exhaust. Has power steering. I know nothing about it. Took it in as a trade. Look at the pics. NO title. Bill of sale. Last registered in 1997.”

“I am selling my 1952 CJ3A Willy’s jeep. The jeep has been taken down to the frame and gone through. New brakes, brake lines, full complete custom wiring harness, all lights replaced, new clutch and throw out bearing. New body mount kit. The tub was rhino lined inside and underside. Motor was gone through around 2005. I put a new head on as the old one had a crack. Jeep is converted to 12volt. New hi torch starter, 12 volt alternator. The radiator was redone also. It also has a custom center console between the front seats that has CD player and a lockable box to secure things. It’s a nice jeep but it’s time for someone else to enjoy it. $7500 OBO. Open to reasonable offers. No low ballers or BS please. Serious inquiries only please.”
