These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Priced dropped to $3200 because 4wd isn’t working gear broke in the front axle transfer case is all good easy fix just don’t have time right now … 1950 Willys jeep with a Buick v6 swap runs great, nice seats, cage, small lift, perfect for the trails. Currently non oped but can be registered. Open to trades really looking for sas toyota will consider jeep cherokee (no grands) 4runner, harley, diesel truck don’t be scared to make me an offer”

Seller’s friend describes this as a 1956 “Willys D1”. It appears to be a CJ-3A with an incorrect year.
“Selling for a friend. It is not a Cherokee it is a Willys D1. Facebook will not accept the Willys Make in the field. It has been looked at by 2 mechanics and “runs really good for its age.” It has been sitting a long time and just smokes a little but just needs to run for a while. Major cosmetic defects. It is a fixer-upper. Mileage unknown”

Lots of new parts on this jeep.
“1949 3A Willys Jeep. Has GO Devil. 134 cubic inch with 60 HP. Very nice Jeep and loved att the car shows. I also run in local parades and run around town locally. She runs great. Never in the rain or snow. Original body as you can see was gone so I went south for another body. Jeep has 12 volt 3 wire GM alt. and charging and lights are no problem. Also installed electronic ignition recentlyalong with Warn front hubs.
She still needs a few things like a set of leaf springs as these are getting weak and a 2nd gear sycronizer. It will pop out of second when down shifting but pulls fine. Easy fixes. Prices came from Hemmings. Never thought I would sell but health forces me to.She is not perfect but very nice.”

“Own the real deal, 1951 Willys. This is the farm version. Vehicle history: first Nebraska then Wyoming and finally Wisconsin. This was a working farm vehicle. It has 49,000 original miles. It comes with a fabric top and doors. It is not perfect, however it is 99% rust free. It is a fun head turner.”

(10/28/2016) Used to have a Trencher on the rear.
“To many projects and with a third baby on the way I won’t be getting to all of them. Selling my 1952 Jeep Willys CJ3A. This Willys originally had a factory option Jeep-a-trench trencher (which has since been removed) on the back, so the Jeep still has the factory rear PTO. Has the T-90 3 speed manual transmission and the Dana Spicer model 18 transfer case. 4 cylinder F head Hurricane 134 ci engine. I have never had it running. Has factory half soft top and soft doors. Jeep has been in my shed for over 12 years. Have title and much of the original paperwork on it. Was in a shed when I got it and has continued to be. Little to no rust. Perfect for winter restoration project..”
