About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1950 willys Jeep CJ-3A has been fully restored, runs, drives, stops excellently and is ready to hit the road, trails, parade, car show, or WW3. The highly sought after go devil engine runs strong and starts first turn. 3 speed manual transmission functions as it should with no hesitation as does 4×4 high and low.
“After 7 years I am sad but it’s time for my Jeep to have a new friend behind the wheel. It’s a 1950 WILLYS still 6 volt. Mechanical fuel pump. Engine, trans, brakes, etc have less than 500 miles. Seats have been redone. I have a rear seat frame and for the right price will finish rebuilding the back seat to match.
The Jeep was purchased by me for a film that came out in 2012. It has a nice petina. Tires are solid Armstrong’s. I have a manual, spare parts, etc. It comes with a gas can on the back, tow hitch, and matching spare tire (not picture). More pics to come
Jeep is registered and runs and drives as well as is should. Room for this to be a $15K + Jeep in the future. Has been around the block but not super hammered or molested like most Jeeps of this age.
Leaks like old cars do. I have 6 cars and need to thin out since I just got my fav vintage BMW to restore and need garage space.”
(05/27/2018) Seller claims this is “unmolested all stock”. Oh my, where to begin … front bumper, lacks parking brake, missing a gauge, some gauges are not real, wrong shift handles, flat rear wheel wells, just for starters.
