About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1953 Willy’s my dad and I bought years ago as a project and never got around to it. It did run before we pulled motor. Call or text me for more details. $1000 OBO! I will also entertain reasonable trades!”
“1949 Willys Jeep 4×4

It was taken apart to restore, however I dont have the time.
4 cylinder flathead Willys Engine
Brand new tires never been on the road.
Its all here.

I think the seller’s credibility slipped when he listed this “99.5% original” jeep as a 1946 …. It appears to have a CJ frame, given the PTO bar on the back. This may well be a mix of 2A and M-38 parts.
“99.5 % original
Never been altered mechanically EVER
Valve & Stock fuel system
Factory P.T.O Front Winch
Rear output shaft on transfer case – implement drive ect
Ran great until 1996, when last used.
All brakes etc were working
Should run and drive with minimal work –
Should be gone through prior to use!”
“For Sale: 1951 Willys Jeep CJ3A. This is a complete chassis with Warn hubs, original running L134 Go Devil flathead 4 cylinder motor. PERFECT Frame, front to back, OEM stock–not one crack, repair, pre-existing damage repaired–NOTHING, ORIGINAL BUMPERS! The Brake system is complete, hubs are all in excellent condition. This chassis was a running, driving chassis for a proto-type Jeep skeleton project that never came to fruition. Standard T-90 transmission, (shifters are free and move easily), D-18 transfer case, (stock). The entire assembly is rolling on 15” white spoker wheels and off-road tires.
This jeep is a CJ-3A body on a CJ-5 chassis. I am told it was initially put together by a guy who had a bunch of miscellaneous parts. This is being sold by Kevin, a young jeep enthusiast who helps out at Merlin’s Hanson Mechanical shop.
“I am selling my Jeep Cj. It has the F134 4 cyl engine, T90 trans and D18 transfer. It is an older restoration from before i owned it. It runs and drives, brakes are good, new starter, new regulator, rebuilt carb and other normal maintenance has been performed. Tires are about 1 year old. I have a clean title in my name. Also has a soft top and tow bar (not pictured). ”
You get everyone for $100, but you have to take it all.
“Willys Jeep CJ3A body parts available
Tub has some rusty spots but mostly solid. Floor and some rear fender holes and almost perfect cowl. I have seen many worse that have been used as is or repaired. Front fenders are very solid and just slightly dented, no rust, easily fixed. Windshield needs glass and some minor work, no rust, very solid. Hood looks very good, no rust and no dents. Gas tank has no rust, but has liner applied inside. Radiator did not leak, needs minor touch up to look very good.
Tub – $100
2 Front fenders – $100
Windshield – $100
Hood – $100
Gas tank – $100
Radiator – $100
Or if you take it all – $100, yes but that means all.”
UPDATE: Seller will take offer. Was priced at $1500.
This has a modified windshield. Here’s one that looks identical and another and one other. I don’t know if this means someone manufactured these custom windshields or it is just coincidence. It also appears to have a set of rare Cutlas “Bulldog” hubs.
“I have this willys and I need the cash. It doesn’t have the hood and basically it’s perfect for a project. Lost paperwork but a lien sale will be the best option. I’m asking 1500 but make me an offer. ”
(09/08/2017) I just thought this one was interesting.
