About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Just put new master cylinder and new front brake shoes and wheel cylinders on all 4 wheels. have the doors that go with the cloth top which are in perfect shape. one of a kind! Great Classic,Fun 4×4! very little off road use!”
Could be worth a look. Has some diamond plate across the back (or that’s the tailgate).
“1951 Willys Jeep, with a Ford engine. Jeep is registered with clear title.
Starts and runs, needs throttle cable and brake adjustment. Has canvas top and side doors along with back window. New Battery. Does have basic Jeep rust around braces for front flat fenders, floor boards etc. has been kept inside for last 20 years.
It’s set up for a plow that goes with it. Plow is rough but useable.”
Since the Jeep has sat a few years, I hooked up a battery and it cranked right over. But 2 valves are stuck “up”, I pulled the side cover and can see which ones they are. I began removing the head. Once you unbolt the head you can push them up/down to free them up. I have another Jeep restoration taking up time.
Once valves are free this would be a great running project. Good frame, shifts smooth, nice windshield.”
Lots of updates on this 3A. It’s listed as a CJ-3B.

“This 1952 Willys Jeep will be offered for sale at the McGregor Loins auction Saturday July 8, 2017 located at the McGregor Community Center, auction starting at 10:00am
This 1952 Willys Jeep was reported to be in running condition when put into storage several years ago. The body is very sound for the age and should be a candidate for a full restore. We have installed a new battery and the engine does crank over but so far does not fire. We do have a clean MN Title.
A non stock air cleaner has been installed at some time in the past, the round addition to the hood is to accommodate the air cleaner.”
“For Sale: Willys CJ3A open jeep. No title. No data plate. No known history on this jeep.
This jeep is a rolling chassis, complete, less motor, transmission and transfer case. I do have the driveshafts, and the suspension and axles are complete. Wheels are 15’s.
The Jeep body Tub is extremely rough, borderline for parts–repaired and re-repaired over 70 years of hard hunting and ranch life. The frame is solid, definitely restorable. Tub has had the tailgate and tailgate hinges removed and a piece of steel was welded in place of the tailgate. Front clip is clean. I do have a stamped grill with headlight buckets for it. This Jeep is equipped with Warn lock-out hubs on the front axle that function perfectly. The rear axle retainer caps are missing some of the retaining bolts.
First $860 for the entire jeep takes it. All four 15 inch wheels hold air and will roll right up on to your trailer–I have a tractor and can push it up for you. This is a long way from drive-able, but a very good starter.
CASH ONLY. I can deliver for gas and mileage, but will only do so after the jeep has been paid for in full in person.
Thanks”
