This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Purchased last year to be restored but just don’t have the time. New starter installed. Original color was green but has been painted blue. Does have aftermarket power steering. Tires fairly good shape. Has tow bar installed. Has original doors but needs to be refurnished. Does turn over but fuel system and ignition needs to be redone. Serious inquiries only.”
Has mods. My guess is that this is not a 1945 jeep. The body has had some work.

“I had no plans on selling this jeep, but need cash more than the Willys. It was modified for a movie.
The tub is a 1945 wartime MB jeep. It has newer tires, new glass, new regulator, and a newer rebuilt generator. It is 12 volts. The engine is a 1953 Hurricane engine. Has a T90 transmission. It is a driver, and is old, but is a blast. The carb leaks a little, but I have a brand new one that goes with the jeep.”

This looks to be a CJ-3A with an M-38 body and front clip (except for grille).
“This CJ3A has been restored with a rebuilt engine and a new body, braking system, 12-volt electrical system, seats and soft top. In addition, five 6 x 16 inch unmounted wheels are included. It’s not perfect, but it runs well. I will consider reasonable offers.”
