This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 Willy’s Farm Truck clowned military Jeep (not running). I bought this from an estate sale. Was going to restore it, but do not have the time. It has the L134 engine, PTO and a gear box belt drive on back to run farm equipment (it’s a rare farm truck only a handful still exsists). I was told it ran in parades until owner began to strip it for parts to restore another Jeep. It’s a CJ3A with military parts to make it look like a military Jeep. $4500 OR BEST OFFER”

“1950s jeep willys. This is an old barn find jeep (I believe it’s a cja2 could be totally wrong) my uncle has had it many years. It’s definitely a project. But with some love could make a fun toy. It does have the pto on the back. He doesn’t have the title to it. So you would have to do some paper work to get one”
Bill spotted this refurbed jeep listed as a 1948 CJ-3A. It looks in good shape for the price. The engine has a 3A/M-38/DJ-3A oil filter holder, so either the year or the model is incorrect.

This is a mix of parts, including a DJ-3A body, a CJ-2A windshield and an M-38 grille. The chassis might be DJ-3A as well.
