About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“ok keep in mind this thing was made in 1949 but it is a driver and is NOT all rusted out. it has a 350 v8 motor with a 350 auto trans, factory overland overdrive and twin stick transfer case, power stering, power brakes (4 wheel disk), full soft top with doors, a bikini top, capet and good seats. the roll bar in the pics is removable. title in hand.”
“1952 JEEP IN GOOD RUNNING condition, all the parts are there needs some body work has not been used in a long time,BUT it runs good has some new parts”
This sure looks good for the price. The entire description is detailed. I’ve included it under the pictures.
“1950 Willys CJ3A Flat fender Jeep
This Jeep is a great little runner that gets looks all around town. It’s reliable, starts right up and hasn’t failed to get me home again yet. It stops on a dime and steers straight and true. It rides on 7.50×16″ Firestone 8 ply NDT tires with less than 1K on them. The rims are the original size 16″ x4.5”. It will roll through the back roads all day long but it won’t take you down the highway mind you. It’s top speed is 55MPH with a tailwind so comfortable cruising speed is between 45-50 MPH.
“I’m selling my 1953cj3a Willys flat fender jeep. It is currently registered and runs. It has a 76 ford pinto 2.3l 4cyl motor with a stock t90 3spd tranny and model 18 t case. Stock running gear. It isnt perfect but is in good shape. It needs a flywheel ring gear wich is around 76$. Was going to fix it up and restore but don’t have time for it anymore. Selling for $3900 or trade for a tent trailer or camping trailer. If interested call or text 707-477-2448 I can send pictures”
Doug just spotted this ad. I’d say three look like CJ-3As and one looks like a DJ-3A.

“Early 1949 Willys Cj3a Jeep. Sears “allstate”aluminum half cap with door frames. and plow. ran and drove when parked. Good for project or parts. $500.00”
“Up for sale is my 1950 willys CJ3A
Clean title in my name. first titled in 1950 so its never had the title lost or been retitled.
It currently runs and drives.
Nice strait frame and good running gear.
Nearly new wheels and tires no rot.
have brand new mech fuel pump and rebuild parts for the brake system.
body is a little banged up.
typical wavy bed area and fenders. nothing to bad though.
dash floors and tranny hump area are all in good shape.
its been sanded down and let sit awhile so its coated in surface rust.
needs the fuel tank cleaned out to be driven more then a few mins.
its a newer tank just has a bunch of crud in the tank.
I don’t need to sell this but i’m moving at the end of the month and it would be nice to have a few extra bucks on me.
If I don’t sell it I’ll just pull it along with me.
Only trades I would be interested in is a newer model KTM dirt bike. enduro style with head light and tail light. no MX bikes. 250+ 2-stroke or 400+ 4-stroke.
“1950 willys cj-3a flatfender jeep. Original 4 cyl hurricane motor, t-90 trans. Runs gd. Has extension on rear end and resembles cj-8. Dual gas tanks.”
Joe spotted this jeep. I believe the price dropped from $1100 to $650, despite what the text says in the ad. Also, this might have an overdrive or the seller is confusing that with the transfercase. This could be a MB or GPW instead of a 1950 flattie.
“Complete but needs work. I was going to build it into a crawler but I found another that is a better fit for my growing family. I will sell it for $600 without the motor/trans/overdrive unit. If you want the motor/trans/overdrive I would take $1100. It has a chevy V8 and it has a warn overdrive unit. It dose not run. Previous owner said engine needs work.”
“It runs and needs TLC and a good new home! Original inline 4 cylinder, original Willy’s Body Tub, updated Canvas Seats. It needs work throughout but will make a great project car and they are hard to find!”
