Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. It includes everything you see including, 3a hood, full front and rear quarters with inner wheel housings, new front floor, scripted tool box, and rear floor with attached cross member. This is a collection accumulated over a 35 year period. You will not buy these parts together anywhere without buying foreign imports! I am also including a 3a donor Jeep that has straight frame rails and horns. You can pick up these parts and Jeep ten miles east of Hershey, PA. Looks like a nice roll cage.
“This is an original 1947 Jeep Willy body (I may be wrong on the year, I do know it’s in the mid 1940’s though). It has been sitting on the property for years and will never become a project for us. It’d be great to see someone build this beauty. As you can see from the pics it has some gauges, original fold down windshield, among other things. I didn’t bother cleaning it up to show because if you’re looking for a project like this that wouldn’t make any difference anyway. Also have the frame for it too. It was attached, but to move it down here from WA it had to be separated. The frame isn’t included in this add because we may try to sell it seperately unless someone makes a reasonable offer for both. Asking $750 for the body/obo. Looks like a flat fender body (mb? or vec CJ-2a?) has been dropped onto a 1979 CJ-5 chassis.
“Titled as a 79 cj5 but hav a 48 willys title that came with the tub. Has a 302 v8, t18, dana 44 front, custom 35 spline 9 inch rear, 4:56 gears and Detroit lockers f/r, wheelbase stretched almost 10″, all new wiring, gauges, custom seats, full cage, tilt steering, wildwood brakes and clutch. Motor has new water pump, oil pump, gaskets and seals, alum rad, optima red top, spring under, waggy spring up front, 4″ BDS springs rear, 35/12.5/15 BFG MTs about 80% and one for a spare. Body isn’t great. Only needs a little bit to be perfect. I drive this everywhere. Hate to get rid of it.
$7200 with hardtop $6200 without or may take a partial trade on good gas mileage car or truck. Got a soft top but it’s rough.”

This appears to have early CJ-2A tags on the dash. So, there might be some 2A on the jeep as well. The front bumper has been shortened.
