About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
The seller is not sure what the model is, though the title say 1942. I’d say it is a CJ-3A.

(11/16/09) It looks like it might have the Hudson Steering. It hasn’t run in 10 years.
“1949 Willys Jeep. Stored inside garage. Body in good condition. White with blue hardtop. Last time I had the jeep running was 10 years ago for a hunting trip. Asking $3,500.00 but will take offers. Give me a call and come take a look!”
“I have a 1953 Willy Jeep CJ3A for sale. “She” is in need of a good home, will need some restoration work and TLC. Has original inline 4 cylinder “Go Devil” engine, T90 transmission, Model 18 transfer case, Dana 25 front axle, and Dana 44 rear axle. Transmission is in good working order, not sure if it has ever been replaced or re-built. Frame and suspension are in outstanding condition. Has rust but mostly surface rust. The entire body is present and most appears to be original. Windshield frame has been replaced and or modified but still maintains original glass. Some panels’ need replacing like running boards and inner fender wells. Cab floors are in good condition for the age. Tail gate is fully functional and original. Seats are original and in need of some repair, the fuel tank has been replaced as well as the carburetor and plug wires. Has whole dash nothing missing. Motor does turn over and will run with the help of fuel being added to carburetor, fuel pump needs repair but fuel lines are good. Also have the original hard top (Aluminum) with doors. All glass present however doors do function and windows slide freely. Not currently registered, however can be, title is clear and I have the original. Will also trade for a 6×12 enclosed trailer that is in good shape and has a side door and rear ramp. Cash purchase only please, or trade.”
(10/29/2011) “this is a 1953 cj3a willys jeep i have owned and built over the last 15 years it has a 410ci small block chevy with about 100 miles on it it has a 4 speed t19 transmission 100 miles on it has a spicer 18 transfer case that has built to hold up to 800hp it has 31 spline dana 44 front and rear rear has locker in it it has new disk brakes up front drums in back it is street legal but you would have to be insane to drive it on the street(i do all the time) it is sitting on 44×19 inch gumbo mudders lots of tread left but if you like street driving you can slap some 35s on it and its vary streetable. this is not a show car but if you park it at a car show it will get more attention than all the other cars there x 100.

“This is a 1950 Jeep Willys. It ran good good like month ago, the fuel pump seems to be not working at best now, it’s a universal in-line pump. It has a 289 Ford engine, plenty of power. New rubber and wheels. 3 speed manual. I believe it has dana 44’s axles. It does have some surface rust but nothing serious.
It also has a rear diff leak, It looks like it just needs a new gasket on the cover and one of power steering hose slowly leaking.
If you want to buy it, I can deliver it within 50 miles for free. I can do trade or partial trade”
(03/29/2011) I think this is a CJ-3A, but it’s hard to verify with all that cammo paint.
“1951 Willys Flat Fender Jeep. This jeep is in good condition for a restoration project or it can be driven just like it is. The jeep has been setting for about 3 years. The previous owner told me it was running when he parked it. I haven’t tried starting it. Just don’t have the time to mess with it. I’m needing to sale it fast. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. (620)674-2276.”
