UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1500.
(11/11/2012) This has stainless floors?
“Very straight and solid; lots of work done; has stainless floors; lots of nice custom work done; good tires; tow bar; has Scout running gear; California title. First $1,500 takes it.”
It’s a bit rough, but quite stock. I can’t tell how deep the rust is.
” OK, here it is again: Here is a 1953 Willys Jeep. The Jeep has been in my family for the last 60 or so years, and has been parked in our barn for probably the last 40. I had the Jeep running about 16 years ago and was able to drive it around. I kept it running for about a year, then lost interest in it and parked it back in the barn. When I did have it running, it ran pretty well and did not smoke. All of the gears worked as they should and the 4 wheel drive worked amazing. I never did get the brakes working. Unfortunately now the motor is locked up. I did try to free the motor up by pouring kerosine in the cylinders and trying to turn the motor over, but it did not work. When I got it running 16 years ago, the motor was locked up then and I had to take the head off and let it soak with oil. I cannot guarantee that it will work again, but that’s how I got it free. It has some rust and the passenger floorboard will probably need replaced and a couple of holes below the doors, but most of the body is solid. The tires do hold air for at least a couple of weeks, but they all have very slow leaks and are dry rotted. Anyone is welcome to come and inspect the jeep before bidding.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $6000

This appears to have a DJ body.
“Jeep for sale, everyting is factory except for the motor. It has 302 V-8 with a t90 tranny (I think) with the original axles under it that have been re-done (seals replaced, checked the ‘footprint’ of the gears ect…). It needs a new radiator. This is a parts truck or a restoration.”
UPDATE: The tires and rims have been updated, giving it more of a hot rod look.
(09/15/2012) This looks solid.

Except for the dash, the body looks good. This is the third Parkette body I’ve seen in Georgia.
“Its 1946 frame with a 1964 fiber glass body on it. It has been painted with truck bed liner I have a tranny and transfer case that is good. The body’s in good shape its has a few places where the fiberglass has spider webbing. It has a few parts that come with it.
