Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The front fenders and the rear wheel wells have been hacked. Halve the price, then halve the price again for this tortured survivor.
“I have a 1948 Willys Jeep CJ2A. It runs and drives. Clean title and I just had it go through insection. It has practically brand new tires. The fenders were cut off by a previous owner. It is rusty. It does need to be restored. I would like to sell it for 5000. I would consider a trade for a newer jeep wrangler.”

My Willys Jeep starts and runs absolutely excellent. The paint is good with minuscule blemishes. 4 wheel drive works great, with brand new tires on jeep. Reupholstered seats with odometer that exceeds mechanical limits. Some new gauges and some are original with dash being in excellent condition. Jeep has new fuel tank.
