Dana 30 in front axle and dana 44 in rear.4.10 gears.has grany low wich u can basically walk beside which is ideal for crawling. Tires in good condition. Has black rims with simulated bead lock. No engine.
“Had an original flat 4cyl in it, is now ready to bolt up a small block chevy motor. Adaptor and bell housing come with the jeep. I have spent some time and money building to drive around town but getting married and the wife says it has to go. Does have Chevy disk brake conversion on the front axle with steel braided hoses. Installed WARN overdrive for more ability to drive around. Have redone fuel system with a custom fuel cell, liner in the back of the jeep along with new steel braided lines. Interior has new Best Top seats along with seat belts that have been added, does have GRANT removable steering wheel. Has newer Best Top soft top and soft doors. Exterior does have newer paint but has been subject to minor weather conditions so paint has a couple blemishes, hood has been modified for pro-scoop as pictured and is included with this auction. Has newer exhaust with flamethrowers built into the custom side exit exhaust. Do have corresponding paperwork for after market components added to vehicle. All paperwork goes with the vehicle.

From the decals, it appears to be a UN Farm Vehicle stationed along Route 66. How it reached Canada is less certain.

(04/11/2012) Well, the steering wheel looks salvageable.
“Selling what I think is a 50 Willys CJ3A Jeep, good V8 project, its been lifted and sides are 3/16 steel, has good transmission, no engine, grille and radiator are good, hood not included. $400”
On our way home from the WAAAM on Saturday we decided to drive through The Dalles, a small town whose name isn’t pronounced like ‘Dallas’ but rather like ‘The Dallzzzz”. While driving through I took an unplanned turn, then crossed over to a side street where I spotted this CJ-3A (which of course required a few pictures).
This looks good.

“I am selling my 1949 CJ3A. It has a Buick 231 V-6, Warren overdrive, rebuilt T-18 transmission, NDT tires, power steering, and 11” brakes. It has a military grade canvas top (as shown; no full top).
