About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
How about that windshield! I’d like to take a closer look at that.
“Great Project for any collector of Ex Militery Vehicles from WWII or just a great vehicle for the beach! It has a rebuilt 231 V6 which needs to be finished, all parts are there. It just needs the right person to put it together!”
(12/30/09) I’d like to see some more pics of the custom paint job on this old school build. No tranny, tc, seats or steering column.
“This is a one of a kind Jeep Willys with custom front fenders, flared rear fenders and a full cage row bar. It comes almost complete to get it back on the road again , it has all running gear except transmission/ transfer case and a steering column. We are including a running nice Buick v-6 motor. It has been garaged for 25 years so it is in great shape. Also it has been non-op through DMV so there is no extra fees to register. We must sell and will sell for $800 without the motor or $1,200 with, trades considered”
“I have owned since 1974 and hate to sell, has had three restorations, currently was in the middle of 3rd and is unfinished. Has Chevrolet 350-v-8, warn overdrive, ford granny low 4 speed. Lots of fun”
(01/06/10) Those are some great old slot rims, with nice tires on them. There’s also a good engine and updated brakes. The glass looks good. The rust situation doesn’t appear too bad from the pics. I’d say this isn’t a bad price.
“’52 Willy’s flat fender jeep, CJ3A. 5″ Lift, 3″ springs and 2″ shackles. New 34″ x 9.5″ Super Swampers. GM 231ci V6. 11′ Front drum brake kit. This baby is a little rough and will need work to be put back on the road… but it runs, drives, and stops. Running gear is stock, 4wd works. It also comes with a top w/doors, but plastic is yellowed and may be junk?? Has been on NON-OP w/DMV for about 10yrs now. MAY be interested in a partial trade… I really want a Springfield XD 45, full, compact, and/or tactical considered.”
“1951 willys jeep original drivetrain including overdrive, also have mercedes diesel for easy conversion also 1973 cj5 running gear, v8 best offer 715 250 0221, or reply by email with jeep in subject.”
This might be a reasonable price. It’s got a fiberglass body and the rest of the parts look good. But, it sure is dirty!! Note there is not motor.

If this sat in a barn for 15 years, that barn must have been pretty leaky!
“This Willys is being sold to settle an estate, it will be sold at No Reserve with NO TITLE! The odometer shows 1,572 miles but will be sold as true miles unknown. Fresh from the barn where vehicle has been parked for 15+ years. Great for restoration or donor. Willys & Jeep parts are becoming harder to find as the years go on, this one is complete with every part you need. Included in the auction are both side doors with great frames, front windshield assembly which is complete with glass & wipers, and all framework for the top. Please ask any questions and i will answer you asap. I am listing this for another person who is settling the estate. Local towing can be arranged if needed. Once again it will be sold with no title and true miles unknown.”
(09/29/09) This looks well put together. It could probably use an OD if it doesn’t have one.
