About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

“1952 willys, 350 small block bored .06 over, muther thumper comp cam 287/305, holly 4 brl. carb. chevy truck rear end. monty carlo frame. less than 200 mi. on motor. this thing is rad/fun!”
Given the year and the military passenger fender, I checked to see if this was a CJ-V35U. The spare can holder and the tire mount on the back of the tailgate appear consistent with one. However, if it had the correct dash plates, most are missing.
“1950 Willys Jeep CJ3A
Excellent mechanical condition.
Starts and runs great. Even when cold. Original drive train.
4×4 Works Properly
No power anything.
Good tires.
Nice seats.
Some rust but remaining metal is solid. Gauges work. But speedo is contrary.
Antique tags, so is street legal but mostly used on the ranch.
(Sprayer not included)
You will not find one that runs better than this one.
Have blue Texas title.
Mileage unknown”
“Selling my Willys CJ-3A. Ran when parked 10 years ago. Would need some tinkering but should run. Last licensed in California in 2002. Bill of sale only. $2750 … Trades that have a higher value than my asking price would be considered.
This Would make an awesome father son restoration project.
Muscle Car Rare Patina Classic”
“I have a 1949 CJ3A Jeep for sale. It runs and drives, has a blue bonded title. I got the parts to start the brakes, but haven’t installed them yet. It’s not a rust bucket and would be fine on a ranch as-is, but it needs work. It would be a fun project for someone who has the room and the mechanical ability for a do it yourself project. I am firm on the price.”
“1946 Willy’s (green one) and 1950 Willy’s (black one) for sale. $10,000 OBO for the pair. Selling as a package deal, but will consider splitting them up for the right price. **** Both have clean titles, both run! ****
Don’t have the time to further restore them. I have some spare parts for them as well as 2 tool boxes full of all the tools to work on them as well as misc. stuff which will all be included in the package deal. Open to offers ! Serious inquires only please. Don’t waste my time or yours. They are what they are.”
“Again with a tear in my eye, I am offering my
1949 CJ3A Jeep that I have owned for 52 years.
This was my second Jeep and my family and I
won the most active family trophy in the Phoenix
Jeep Club for several years.
But that was a long time ago, and all good things
must come to an end.
This vehicle has many modifications mostly of the
wrecking yard variety which is the way we used to do
things back in the day.
So here is my fairly honest appraisal.
The Jeep has the V6 Dauntless engine
from a 1966 CJ5.
The engine has a polished aluminum
Ofenhauser manifold with a vintage
Carter AFB 4 barrel carburetor.
I still have the original 2 barrel manifold
and carburetor somewhere. Continue reading →

“1951 Jeep Willy with title. 6 cylinder motor. This is a project for the right person. Jeep tries to start but I believe it is the starter giving me problems as it used to run. Once these are restored they sell for pretty big money. Would be a fun ride through the desert or the back of Mt. Lemmon.”
“I have two Willy’s jeeps for sale. One is complete, and ran 5 years ago and the other is a parts Jeep with no motor or transmission. There are extra hoods and radiators. And fenders. I have the pinkslip for the more complete one pictured. They are 1947s the tub on the green one is pretty cool as there is no tailgate. It’s one solid wrap around piece.
Make an offer. I would prefer to sell both at once”
“Green/black, Chevy 305 V8, HD Sm 465 4 speed w/205 t-case, ps, 38.5 TSL SXs on 15×12 Eaton Beadlocks, Wrangler spring over suspension with Rancho shocks, Dana 44 frt & full floating 14 bolt rear, boxed frame, full roll cage, Equis gauges, Milemarker hubs, Flowmasters, stringer front, original sheel metal on this radical trail rig.
Disclaimer: Jeep does not currently run. Last run about 2 years ago. Needs work. Paid 9K in 2004. This will be a fun project for someone that wants to restore it. It is a LOT of fun driving this thing. I call it the “Rock Climber”. Certificate of Title available.”
