This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 CJ3A Willis Jeep – – Great hunting Jeep — 350 Chevy engine, runs very good. New battery. – 4 wheel drive works, with lock in/out front hubs, and heater works, Has soft top with doors, Tow-bar. Good military tires, hold air, no leaks. New master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and brake shoes. 12 volt windshield wipers. Headlights and taillights work, but not street legal, (but no blinkers, stoplights, or emergency brake.)”

Obviously this is not “ALL ORIGINAL”. It looks solid though. (Just a few examples of mods: handles, items on front fender, front hubs, paint, rollbar, towbar, metal rectangular tube across the front frame rails — probably the frame rails have been repaired –, position of rear tire).
